I never leave bad reviews because most small businesses are struggling, however in this instance its necessary to save others from experiencing such poor workmanship and costly rectification repairs. Darren installed the new boiler which did not comply with manufacturer's installation instructions and so the manufacturer negated our 10yr warranty. We asked him to come back and rectify the problems, but he refused saying that everything was compliant. He then blamed others and shouted abuse down the phone.
Also, it's not wise to let him anywhere near a WC overflow!

It is incredibly disappointing and deeply unfair to read such a one-sided and unrepresentative review, from a customer whom employed my services on numerous occasions over a decade. On this recent occasion, I advised the customer - politely and respectfully - and she disagreed with my advice. I double checked with the manufacturer, Vallient, who also agreed with my proposed approach. I very recently sought professional advice concerning remuneration regarding the above issue, which I believe may have prompted this negative review - several months after the issue arose. I am a heating engineer with decades of experience, excellent reviews and am regularly complemented on my professionalism and attitude. At no point in my correspondence with this customer was I anything but the above. I do hope my other reviews reflect the outstanding service that EPG offers. Thank you.
