Ensign renovated our 2 conservatories, they did a reasonable job at a reasonable price but after they vacated the house, we found a lot of areas which hadn't been finished, including plastering, previous mains electric cables not tidied up and 2 incomplete drainpipes. As part of the project, they installed brand new French doors. The locking mechanism never worked properly and they have been back 3 times to fix it [ and a missed appointment ] but all they have achieved is slightly damaging the exterior of one door. I have twice requested that Ensign pay a local locksmith to sort the locking me

Ensign did a site visit to give a proposed design for a new conservatory roof, windows and door and provided a written quote. This was followed up by a detailed on-site design review with the Operations manager and the Joinery tradesman who would be making the new roof in their factory. Ensign dealt with the Council planning. The pre-made roof then arrived in 'flat pack form' which suited our limited access side passageway. The work was completed in 4 days and the tradesmen were first class, polite and tidy. We were so pleased with the work we commissioned them to install new front doors.

Ensign quoted to replace our existing 7m x 3m conservatory and made recommendations in terms of design and saving money by adapting the exterior sting dwarf wall to suit. The grams were replaced, a new lantern roof installed and all the interior walls plastered. The floor was also raised to the same height as the house floor. Work started on the Monday and was completed by Friday when the electrician came and installed all the sockets and lighting. Although I made changes and added bits on as the build was in progress, they stuck to the quote. Highly recommend this company.

Initially Steve came out to discuss our requirements, there was no hard sell or pressure to commit. We decided on a tiled roof with two Velux windows. The new roof was completed within the allotted time including electrical work and part plastering. The whole process proved to be completely trouble free and completed to a very high standard. The whole team were polite, helpful and very clean workers. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ensign Conservatory Roof Solutions Ltd for a professional and quality job.

When we initially asked for a quote, nothing was mentioned about needing planning approval to replace a glass roof for a tiled one. It was due to our own initiative that we discovered it was needed in our area. We paid extra for this, which had been included with other quotes. Initially we were not informed when the inspection by the council would be happening, then we were unaware that it had happened. Now we have been waiting over five months for the approval certificate from Ensign. This is disappointing when we have no complaints with the installers.

What a breath of fresh air to find a company these days that not only delivers what it has promised, but to do it so efficiently and professionally too. I now have a stunning extra room that I can use all year round and I cannot praise Steve and Richard and their team enough. All of the team, including plasterer and electrician, were friendly and courteous, keep you informed throughout the whole process and leave the place spotless. I would 100% recommend Ensign, with the whole process running smoothly from start to finish.
