Engaged this company to repair a microwave combination oven. They stated the magnetron and inverter needed replacing. Paid £95 upfront for the visit and then another £280 for the parts, which again they insisted had to be before they would order the parts.
Upon installation the engineer "tested" the oven and claimed was working fine. Failed the first time it was used. Engineer returned and rested, again said it was fine. Failed again first time it was used. They are now refusing to engage any further.
Response from Emergency Appliance Repairs
The upfront cost is a standard callout that we do require with booking. The parts agreement sent was agreed by you and ordered with payment, this is standard procedure for parts. Solution is ongoing and we are trying to resolve the intermittent fault.
