The guys at Elms were great! They came in at short notice, told us exactly what we would need and got the job done very quickly. We recently had the exterior walls of our property at Gloucester Square, Hackney, repaired and repainted, and the results are outstanding. From start to finish, the team were punctual, professional, and clearly took great pride in their work. The preparation was thorough — all cracks were repaired properly before painting — and the attention to detail has completely transformed the façade. The finish is smooth, even, and looks superb. They also kept the site clean and tidy throughout, which was much appreciated. Communication was clear and courteous at every stage, and the work was completed

This guy did not show up at our appointment and didn't even have the courtesy to cancel. Unprofessional and unreliable.

Plaster finish and decoration carried out to high standard. My only complaint would be I had specified the paint I wanted to use in the job description, and expected it to be included in the cost, but when the contractor arrived they hadn't bought it and had to go and get it at additional cost. They also couldn't get one of the paints I wanted so had to buy similar colour paint.

Excellent comms throughout and work to a high standard. Competitively priced and easy to deal with. We will be back with more work for them.

Martin and his team were excellent from start to finish. They responded quickly to give a quote, took the time to discuss options with me, and even showed inspiration from other projects to help me choose paint styles. The work included plastering, painting, installing a ceiling rose, and removing radiators – all carried out to a very high standard. Communication was clear throughout, they started promptly, and everything was left tidy. I’m really pleased with the result and would happily recommend them.
