Terrible experience with Garage Conversion

Big issues with Elite. Steve couldn’t do enough until standard of his work questioned. Architect plans not followed for the roof. Building control refused to approve his work. Assured work to be completed in 4 wks. Untrue. 16 wks still a shell. Constant excuses not turning up for weeks and not purchasing materials we’ve paid for. Without notice left the job, and now ignores messages, calls and letters. Taken over 30K inc VAT and refuses to provide VAT receipt. Home left insecure and exposed to the weather. Drive piled high with building waste. All evidenced. So bad reported to trading stand

Steve managed to come and view the project really quickly and took down our load bearing walls the next day. Really quick service, and had some useful contacts to get a good price for steels etc. :)

Quick quotation and delivered results

Steven called me up and explained that there could be one of two issues and either he could fix. He came round to give me a quote once he pinpointed the problem and went straight to get the parts needed for the job. Problem rectified, happy with the result, efficient, tidy and polite. Would hire again!

Quote was good, good quality materials specced, right price and fast! Posted the job on Checkatrade, about an hour later I'd been contacted by Stephen and he was on site checking it out. Next day two friendly guys turned up to start work and now I've got a lovely new kitchen floor to replace the utter mess that was there before. I've recommended them to family and a friend based on my experience, I'd recomend them to you too, contact them for your next job. Will be using Elite again for the next job.

Door removal, bifold prep and boarding

Steven is a genuine honest realaible tradesman. We were looking to have bi fold doors installed but needed prior building work doing - doors removed, wall knocked down and steel lintel installed. Several builders mentioned we needed a steel lintel installed but Steven was honest and identified there is one already installed using a hammer drill.This saved us a significant amount of money. Sometimes you just need honest genuine people! He turned up on time, cleaned up and boarded everything up when he didnt have to. I would go to him again for future work.
