We had damp downstairs partly caused by gypsum plaster on solid walls and no damp proof course. Instead of retrofitting, we wanted to use materials sympathetic to the house. We contacted Jon to replaster the downstairs. When he visited to quote and throughout we were impressed with his knowledge on period properties. He was really communicative throughout, and worked around several original features (and a rewire!). Expert quality work, at a reasonable price. He did a lovely curved wall feature by our bay windows that might be one of the best parts of the house now. Thoroughly recommend!

I cannot recommend Elegant Walls enough. Jon and Ty have done two jobs for me now and worked incredibly hard during both, including through the recent heat wave. They are a pleasure to have around the house, and do an absolutely beautiful job.

Jon was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He lime plastered a wall and window reveals in my period property. I wasn't around during the process, so he went above and beyond to ensure I knew what was going on, sending photos and regular catch ups throughout the work being carried out. The finished result is absolutely fantastic. I cannot fault his communication, skills and the overall experience as he clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. Highly recommend.

From the quote to the finished ceilings and walls we were very happy with the work. John and his team did an excellent job of covering an old barn ceiling that had thick artex on the high ceiling and 3 walls needed lime plaster as previous work with ordinary plaster was still getting damp. 10 /10 from me

We couldn’t be happier with the plastering work Jon has done for us. He’s completed two jobs at our home, which have both been finished to an exceptionally high standard. The work involved both gypsum and lime plaster and the results are fantastic. We really appreciated Jon’s knowledge and advice. He took the time to explain what he recommended for our walls and why, which gave us total peace of mind. For the second job, Jon was joined by his nephew, who was brilliant and a real credit to him. We’re absolutely delighted with the results and would 100% recommend Jon to anyone!

I cannot express how good the service was from elegant walls. My Venetian walls are absolutely perfect, just as I wanted them. I think I’ve got a little carried away and want the finish is all rooms. Jon and his team are fantastic and most importantly CLEAN and TIDY ( I am quite fussy!) Thank you so much x
