  Matt replaced our house circuit breakers having diagnosed faults we were experiencing. He is completely honest, reliable, knowledgeable and careful. He explains what needs to be done, the remedy and likely costs. Not only did he complete the job on time and thoroughly test the system but he volunteered to resolve another issue we were having with the operation of our solar panel system. If only other tradespeople were as good!

  Smoke/heat alarms upgrade.

  Matt gas done a few different jobs for me over the years and I'm always really happy with his work. This time it was to upgrade a battery alarm system to mains wired in order to meet D1 grade regulations. It was a bit tricky as the permanent live was not available where we thought it should be. However Matt persevered and got it all done in one day - hottest day of the year too! I'm very pleased with everything done.

  Bathroom electrics, consumer unit

  Always reliable and responds promptly to enquiries. Always thinks through what is required to get the best possible solution. Completed two separate jobs. Firstly, converting bathroom to shower room requiring extractor fan fitting, lights moving etc plus consumer unit upgrade. Secondly, installing heater in upstairs shower room that required some fiddly wiring. He is my ‘go to’ electrician and would highly recommend.

  External socket; Security lights; Fault on one circuit

  Matt arrived as promised and completed an extension to an external socket. At the same time he diagnosed a fault in the kitchen circuit, traced and rectified. The additional socket was further protected by an isolation switch. All carried out without fuss, and with the added benefit of fixing a fault. He kept me informed at all times. All the gaps were sealed properly too. At the same time a fault on a separate circuit was easily diagnosed, plus fitting some replacement external security lights. Matt even managed to get black connector boxes to match the exterior. Cleaned up well. Recommended.
