  Can't speak highly enough. Quality of the workmanship is excellent, proper roofing specialists. Really good comms, and a really friendly but professional crew. I would highly recommend EC Chapman to anyone needing roofing work done.

  Roof tile

  Ernie is incredibly polite and friendly. He came out to assess the job quickly and completed everything within 24 hours. Bless him and his nephew, they are both extremely hardworking and took the time to explain everything clearly. They’re nothing like other tradespeople; they are truly the most fantastic people I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

  New Chimney pot and cowling required installation

  Our cowl blew off the chimney last week. Ernie correctly pointed out the old cowl was not the correct item. It never was a secure fit to the chimney. It would blow off again if refitted. A reasonable quote was provided for the work to be carried out on the 10th December starting at 09:00hrs. He surprised me by turning up early on the day! Ernie commenced work with Fred assisting to remove the old Flaunching. New pot and cowl was fitted and 2 sets of bonnet tiles were repointed. The chimney and roof look much better after his brilliant work. I would definitely use Ernie again.

  Best roofer I’ve used

  Absolutely superb service from Ernie - came over within 24hrs to provide a very reasonable quote, then came the following week despite atrocious conditions and did a fantastic, highly professional job in repairing a line of hip tiles. He did more than I was expecting of him and also fixed a cracked tile on another roof I asked him to look at on the day …he then only invoiced me the original amount he had quoted. Ernie is the first roofer I’ve ever paid a tip on top of the invoice, such was my happiness with his work. Can’t recommend highly enough.

  Roof leaking between dormer windows

  Ernie and team found the leak right away and did a great job fixing it. Everything was on time and finished well, including small corrections around the roof that were found. Ernie is very pleasant to deal with, reliable and diligent. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.
