  Clear Advice and Effective Remedial Work

  We contacted EcoTrust after spray foam insulation in the loft caused problems with our house sale following the mortgage survey. They inspected the loft, explained clearly why the foam was an issue, and set out exactly what needed to be done. The work was carried out properly and without fuss, and the loft was left clean and tidy once finished. After completion, we received the necessary paperwork which was accepted by the surveyor, allowing the sale to move forward. Straightforward, knowledgeable, and professional throughout. I would happily recommend EcoTrust.

  Damp issue resolved

  We had ongoing damp issues throughout the downstairs of our home, affecting the hallway, living room and dining room. After investigation, it became clear the problem was a combination of external defects and internal rising and penetrating damp. Ben and Lee were excellent from start to finish. They carried out repointing works externally to resolve the source of water ingress, then completed a full damp proof course and installed a damp proof membrane internally. Everything was explained clearly from the outset, including what needed doing and why, as it was a fairly large job.

  We were in the middle of selling our house when the buyer’s mortgage was declined due to spray foam insulation in the loft. We were under serious time pressure and needed a company who actually understood surveyor and lender requirements, not just someone to rip it out.   EcoTrust were brilliant from start to finish. We had spray foam in the loft and our mortgage lender wouldn’t proceed. They came out the next day, explained everything clearly and removed all the foam professionally. The loft was left spotless and we received our surveyor report straight away. Highly recommended.
