    Joe was excellent.. Good communicator. Tidy. Listened to our needs . Prompt reliable quote was quick and booked us conveniently.. 2 new Bathroom cupboards 2 loo sits Bathroom panel and remedial work to shower new lights and ceiling bathrooms painted. Can thoroughly recommend Joe. Will be using his services again .

    Joe was professional, kind and meticulous about the work. Joe put up a shelving unit and a large mirror, and this was done with absolute precision. I would highly recommend Joe, and will be contacting him again for future work.

    Joe was recommended to us by a friend who said he had done some excellent work for them. Joe popped round listened to our request to decorate our house. The quote arrived promptly and was reasonable. When Joe started he communicated thoroughly ensuring we were not inconvenienced. He completed a wonderful job as he is so meticulous and conscious of doing a great. Joe also completed additional little tasks that we had forgotten about. I would thoroughly recommend Joe as not only is he a great decorator but also a very pleasant person. Job was completed on time and we are very happy .

    Reliable, competitive handyman, would recommend and use again

    Joe helped me out with several fairly small jobs including replacing some outside lights, repairing a broken doorframe, and replacing the lock on a door that had become locked shut. Joe was very quick to come back to me and arranged to come and quote soon afterwards. Joe arrived as agreed and gave useful solutions to all the issues and sent me a competitive quote which I accepted. Joe turned up on time and did all jobs to a high standard, ensuring I was happy. He is helpful and knowledgeable on a range of trades, but happy to state what he won't/can't do. Recommended.

    Great job on exterior paint work

    Joe, was a great find. He did an outstanding job on painting our house, which is on an elevated plot and has many access issues. Fully prepared all the house prior to printing, including the removal of moss and repairing cracks. Always on time, very tidy and offered great advise and problem solved throughout the job.

My name is Joe I’ve been in the building industry for around 30 years.

Most of the skills I have I’ve learnt from working for general builders and companies.

  • I’ve worked for in my career I’ve been self-employed for the last 5 years in the domestic sector and also commercial.


My main source of work is painting and decorating by trade however because of my background I’m also qualified electrician.


I undertake remedial plumbing and carpentry work amongst a lot of other things.


Fencing and garden gate installations are another strong skill I possess as well as any exterior type of maintenance, but in general there not too many things that I wouldn’t say I could not do.

I am a level 2 qualified electrician I do a lot of remedial works such as component installation and circuit extensions but nothing that would come under building control other then this anything that does not I am able to do it .

Also my plumbing skills are vast the only plumbing I don’t do is gas registered or pressurised systems such as central heating or radiators.

If it’s toilet ,sink or remedial works such as tap installation, or mains stop valves outside garden taps or any type of plumbing remediation I deal with this and am skilled with no complaints in this area

I am very reliable with good people skills.


I always contact the clients when necessary and I’m clear on pricing through emailed quotes.


I don’t leave the client wondering about costs I’m very transparent and if there is anything other than what has been asked, I always discuss with the client before proceeding.
