Top notch work from Stuart. Cannot recommend him any higher. First trade to call, and when he said he'd try to see if the existing lock just needs servicing that immediately caught my interest. He was available the next day, but came the day after as we weren't. He then rang to say he was available earlier than we'd arranged, so we went with that. He diagnosed the problem immediately and replaced the barrel. He pointed out the handles were showing their age, so he replaced the brass handles with matching white handles to the door. He couldn't move the hinges, owing to the age and construction of the door. But he did adjust the striking plate position. We now have a door that locks and unlocks with ease. The job was completed in less than an hour and that includes providing extra keys. He tidied up everything afterwards and disposed of the old hardware. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and very professional. And all at a great competitive price.
