We are happy to recommend Dan. We required a repair to a damaged front garden wall. He was reliable, professional and polite and kept us informed at each stage of the job. He was a pleasure to deal with. Following a visit to provide a in-person cost estimate, he completed the work to a high standard of finish. Work completed professionally & to an high standard, including extra jobs to improve the outcome. Took a little longer than estimated but still kept within quote. Dan is a talented professional who enjoys and takes pride in his work. The job included restoring a large, deteriorated, difficult to access decorative feature which he first took back to a sound base. The result is stunning & beautiful. He is such a pleasant & obliging person, tidied up at the end of each day and definitely made a messy, difficult job bearable. Plan to use Dan again for internal building work. Highly recommend.

Dan is an excellent bricklayer. He built us a front garden wall taking care to match the bricks and mortar of our house. It looks great. He was working in a confined space on a busy road but solved all the problems that caused. On top of this he is a really nice guy and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended

The job was in two parts: to replace ugly flintstone topping to garden wall with coping stones, then to reuse the flintstones to help in the rebuilding of a fallen section of wall in another part of the garden. Both parts were accomplished brilliantly. Dan managed to instal the coping stones without damaging the wisteria growing on the wall and the rebuilt wall blends in perfectly with the existing walls. Dan and teammate were very good company and I have no hesitation in recommending DW-Brickwork.
