  DRT replaced a fence with concrete gravel boards, concrete posts and featherboarding.

  Darren from DRT did a great job replacing our garden fence. He was reliable, tidy and the fence looks good. The only downside was that there was a large hole under the original fence caused when the fence came down. The gravel boards that Darren put in place did not fully cover the hole which say a fox could get through. I would have thought that covering this hole would be included in the original price but we were asked to pay an extra £280 for two additional gravel boards and installation to ensure the hole was fully covered which really surprised me.

  I hired Darren to build a small wall and replace our front garden when a car crashed into it. Having given him the £2,500 for plants and materials, he hired someone to build the wall (badly), then lost all interest in finishing the job and has not been seen again. It has now been 7 months since he took my money and, despite several promises to finish the job, there is no sign of this happening. I estimate that, at most, he has done £1300 worth of work. He no longer responds to my phone calls, texts or emails and has left me with no choice but to take him to the small claims court.

  Fencing in a communal garden
