  Carpentry work - Cupboard & Internal Door

  We recently had some carpentry work completed at our home and couldn’t be happier with the result. The job involved boxing in a utility cupboard and replacing one of our internal doors with a sliding door, and the whole process from start to finish was excellent. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. Everything has been finished to a very high standard and the attention to detail really shows. The sliding door works perfectly and the boxing in of the cupboard looks neat, tidy, and completely in keeping with the room. We also really appreciated the advice we were given along the way

  Professional and premium woodworking

  Very professional and helpful from quote to finishing the job. We had some panelling added to two walls and they look really smart, especially with the tricky corner and walls that aren’t straight! The second piece of work was creating bespoke drawers for existing built in wardrobes. They are solidly built and exactly what we wanted to maximise storage.

  Shoddy work, not finished

  I found Drift Woodworking on CheckaTrade.Ryan came and quoted for new front door; the quote kept going up. His assistant fitted the door, but didn't notice he had damaged it with a clamp, or that the letterbox hole had shards of wood. The top of the door is not flush with the frame. He said it was warped & would improve, it hasn't. The cills have a gap of 1 cm, and outside step has gap of 10cms beneath. There is a messy gap of holes and filler inside and outside between frame and wall. He said he would return to finish it when I'd painted.Ryan wants over £200 more to finish the job.

  Bespoke cupboards for our alcoves.

  Ryan and Jake did a fantastic job of creating and installing cupboards in our lounge alcoves. They look as though they should have been there from the start.

  Bespoke shelving, cupboards and doors

  We have had an excellent experience with Drift woodworking every time we’ve used them. Ryan and Jack have fitted bespoke built in shelving and cupboards for us around our fireplace, replaced wardrobe doors and fitted new internal doors. In all instances Ryan has met with us to discuss our needs and propose a design, which has been followed up quickly with a quote. All work was carried out as agreed and to an excellent standard with good communication throughout. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
