    Network Cabling and tv wall mount

    David has done an exveptional job- cabling from front of property to bedroom office and studio office. He also wall mounted a tv for me as well. He is a perfectionist by nature and the job was completed to the highest spec. Thanks very much!

    Internet connection to garden office

    Second time I have used David in the last few years (on different matters). This time I needed better internet connection to my garden office. David advised on the best approach, and quickly arranged a time to do the work (install and connect 60m of data cable). A very neat and tidy job. Great communications. Reasonable cost given it was a full day's work. Would definitely recommend.

    Tidying up the many cables around our building, securing them and removing redundant ones

    David did a fantastic job for us on our converted old building in Shirley, Croydon, now 10 flats, where we had heaps of cables serving internet, TV etc, winding all around the building and some loose and hanging down. He made these look really smart and tidy with new fixings and some redundant cables cut away - a big 3-day job. He was expert, professional, and a friendly person to have on site as well, keeping us well informed and working closely with the team restoring our building (who also rated him highly and they should know! Absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending David.

    The job was assessed and the quote was provided within a week. David explained what the options were and dealt with my queries. The work was carried out efficiently on the day and he was polite and tidy. I would recommend him.

DR Data & Communications was set up by David Simpson, with over 20 years’ experience in the telecoms industry.

We offer a friendly but professional service with no call out charges and offer a free no obligation survey when required. We complete work for both the domestic and commercial sectors and the range of work that we are involved in range from small remedial jobs to managing larger projects that may require an array of different skilled professionals such as telecoms, network cabling, security, AV and electrical.

We have had great success installing roaming Wi-Fi solutions, helping to combat the frustrating issues of Wi-Fi black spots in any size property. If you need to go that one step further and require certain devices to have a quicker and more secure connection then we can also install hardwired network sockets using CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6a cabling.

We are currently very much involved with transferring businesses across from their antiquated phone systems to the preferred cloud VOIP phone systems that offer much more flexibility within the work place and is ideal for homeworkers and mobile staff. Through our partners we can offer connections via the 8x8 and Gamma Horizon platforms as well as providing the fibre internet connection that your phone system and I.T. infrastructure rely on.

We can also cater for your business mobile phone users and have access to competitive tariffs from O2 and Vodafone.
