The gentleman showed up on time. I showed him all the areas of concern. He said he would get back in touch with a quote but never did. I tried ringing him on several occasions but did not answer or return any calls. If he did not want the job he should have told me when he came and I would not have wasted my time chasing him for the quote.

I regret that I have let you down in this instance, to the point that you did not wish to let me explain the reason why I had not got back to you when I called you recently. My grandfather became very ill soon after I visited your property. The news came as a huge shock to me as we were very close, therefore as soon as I learned of his illness I went straight to see him, sadly he passed away soon after and I needed to take time off to manage his affairs, arrange and attend his funeral. I regret that I did not take all of my calls or respond to all of my messages at that difficult time. I take full responsibility and recognise that my customers deserve better service than I provided at that time. Please understand that this is not how I run my business, since I started out I have always tried to treat every customer as my only customer and I always aim to treat my customers just as I would like to be treated. Please also accept my sincere apology for not giving you the quote that I said that I would provide and for any inconvenience caused.
