Engineer came out really quickly to repair fusebox which was really helpful as we had no sockets and heating was off. Considering it’s Christmas and he had family coming round he sorted it out quickly and efficiently I would highly recommend this company.

I had a new bulb blow a fuse on a really ancient manually rewired fusebox, not only did I get advice for free over the phone, Downmac came out and fixed the issue same day, even with having to go buy the older wires etc. that are no longer standard. Brilliant service, would definitely go to again in future.

Have used DownMac Electrical twice in the past 2 months for an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) and subsequent work to upgrade the house I bought recently. This included a Consumer Unit replacement, socket replacements and the installation of hard-wired smoke & carbon monoxide alarms. I was very impressed by the neat work they did and that they completed the work on time as promised. I would definitely use the company again.
