    Fixing door locking mechanism

    Peter responded quickly and managed to provide a temporary fix on the day of the call. He then sourced the correct part which was not easy as it was an old door and retuned a few days later and left everything working as new.

    I am beyond impressed with the exceptional service I received from Fred and his team. From start to finish, the entire experience was top-notch.     Fred and his team are a small family business and did a great job at a very reasonable price. responsive, efficient, communicative, and professional throughout. no hidden fees or charges, I paid exactly what was quoted after the free inspection. Fred even came back to do some fine adjustments after the job was completed and paid for. highly recommended.

    Window Refurbishment

    Took 1 month to complete a 2-3 day job. Promised us that all of our windows will look "near to brand new" but multiple window frames are still dirty. Did not clean some of our windows as promised. They do not clean up after themselves and leave a mess. Fred shouted at us multiple times. He has a disgusting attitude and work ethic. They have damaged multiple windowsills, installed a faulty trickle vent and damaged a window as well.

    Response from Double Glazing Doctor

    I certainly will contest these outrageous accusations. Here are a few facts. 1. No mention is made of the fact that we carried out the following extra work for NO EXTRA CHARGE. A. Accused us of 'scratching' a rear sealed unit which we did not but replaced with new unit for FREE B. Refurbed the kitchen window not part of contract C. Refurbed the cloakroom window ditto D. Replaced all the perished bubble gaskets ditto E. Replaced door cylinder ditto F. Polished faded front door ditto No charge for any of the above. Never satisfied from day one. Every trader that reads this will have customers like this and they will know what I mean. All our other reviews are excellent are they all wrong? NO.
