  Reliable and honest

  I Always use this company, as the work is always done to the best possible standard. Always helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. I have recommended this company to a few friends who are all completely satisfied. I wouldn't use anyone else.

  House renovation.

  Over the last year Steve has renovated most of my Edwardian house. He has refurbished and decorated three bedrooms, living room, dinning room and hallway,stairs and landing. He has made good structural issues like rotten floors, skirting board, crumbling plaster and period plaster coving. The rooms have been a mix of painting and wallpaper. Steve has also laid laminate flooring. All his work is of a very good standard. He is prompt, tidy and kept me informed at every step. The best recommendation I give is that after doing the first room, I asked him to come back and do five more!

  Unreliable

  Don’t DIY was recommended to me. Steve visited to view the job agreed a date and price. On the day job was to be carried out I received a message indicating the job had to be rescheduled. Other dates forwarded and voice message left. Six days have passed I have yet to receive the common courtesy of a response.

  Paint hall and conservatory

  Steve was always punctual, hard working and takes great pride in his work. Every day he cleaned up after himself and on the last day did a thorough clean. I had new skirting board fitted in the conservatory as I had a problem with damp. This work was carried out by someone else and some of the skirting was not fitted all that well. Steve sanded and prepped the skirting, applied stopper, primer and two coats of satin finish paint and it is now a really good job. He also did the same in the hall and painted the walls and ceilings in both.

  Large IKEA Flatpacks

  Steve from ‘Don’t DIY ‘..is excellent.. Extremely professional..Steve put a protective blanket on the floor and was very careful with everything. From start to finish clear concise communication.. I’m so so happy with my Units .. Steve moved some into place with me .. we left the others together..as I am still sorting out the space for them to go into.
