  Paint hall and conservatory

  Steve was always punctual, hard working and takes great pride in his work. Every day he cleaned up after himself and on the last day did a thorough clean. I had new skirting board fitted in the conservatory as I had a problem with damp. This work was carried out by someone else and some of the skirting was not fitted all that well. Steve sanded and prepped the skirting, applied stopper, primer and two coats of satin finish paint and it is now a really good job. He also did the same in the hall and painted the walls and ceilings in both.

  Large IKEA Flatpacks

  Steve from ‘Don’t DIY ‘..is excellent.. Extremely professional..Steve put a protective blanket on the floor and was very careful with everything. From start to finish clear concise communication.. I’m so so happy with my Units .. Steve moved some into place with me .. we left the others together..as I am still sorting out the space for them to go into.

  Replacement of the light fixtures and caulking

  Steve came to our house to replace the light fixtures and to do the caulking. He worked hard and finished everything well. He is honest and is trustworthy. We are very satisfied with his work and are going to call him for more work next week. I definitely would like to recommend him.

  Curtains and Curtain Rod Hanging

  I tried to hang a new curtain rod and rails, after 3 hours of crumbly plaster walls against concrete, I gave up. Called a few handymen without luck. Then I called Steve. He was full of good surprises, the best of all being no bad surprises! He was polite, friendly, efficient, prompt. Steve actually wanted the job and was capable. His pricing was affordable, he had the skills, equipment. Steve was honest and even cleaned up afterwards, vaccing all the dust up and leaving the place tidy. The curtains are up and won't be falling down. We have many more jobs for Steve to come back for. A+
