  Swift, professional, great value service from Arjan at Doda North Decoration. I initially planned to repaint one room and leave bigger jobs till later but was so impressed I asked him to stay and decorate the entire flat. I could not be more delighted with the results. He is clearly a skilled and experienced decorator now in business for himself - a lucky find thanks to Checkatrade. He took great care with planning, preparation and finishing - the sign of a real pro. Somehow he also managed to control dust, another huge plus for me. Knowledgeable, considerate and trustworthy. Highly recommend.

  Not professional. Amateurs.

  I originally wrote a positive review about Arjan and his team of painters but I'm afraid I'm bitterly disappointed. Under a year ago my windows were restored and painted. The restoration was ok but he didn't use waterproof paint and less than a year in the paint is starting to crack around the windows on the outside. This should happen after about 10 years or even more. Not recommended.

  Professional, reliable decorator

  Arjan came and helped us decorate a bedroom. Unusually for this kind of job, my partner and I wanted to work alongside him so we could get the job done in a weekend. Arjan turned up on time. He was highly experienced and professional. He worked quickly and efficiently. He gave great advice, including on decorating materials from fillers to tapes to primers to diluting undercoats. And he was good company. The room now looks great. The cracks in the plaster are all gone. The paint job is smooth and seamless. Arjan is hard working, good at his job, takes pride in his work. Highly recommended.
