I proceeded to get a quote from this company, only to receive a quote that was more than double the most expensive quote I received for the same amount of work elsewhere. After expressing my opinion and disagreeing with it I received a reply from a guy and I quote "If you know so much about cladding you should come and get a job here. " This is absolutely no way to speak to a client for simply disagreeing with you. It would be more appropriate to explain your position and that you can't help me further. Completely Unacceptable DMD

In response to the above. DMD Installations Commercial Director has contacted this consumer and explained That DMD is an approved installer in the following, Cedral, James Hardie, Kestrel, Swish, freefoam and many more and can guarantee its work. As a business we endeavour to offer the best quality installation possible, and our proven track record can demonstrate this. He then offered an insight into how our business compiles its price points and the fact that a business of our scale is unfortunately subject to considerable overheads. This combined with our commitment to health and safety, reducing our environmental impact, being a responsible employer and all the other factors on a medium size business will always put pressure on our price point, and probably make a small independent man in a van cheaper.
Unfortunately, a flippant comment was made via email by a member of our team, this was in response to an email we received questioning our price point. DMD accepts that this was a mistake and undermines this consumers experience of DMD. Both the Commercial Director and Estimator have apologised for the comments and she has acknowledged that.
