Marcus was not only a fantastic painter but also a genuinely lovely person to have working in the flat. He was clear and transparent about the work, explaining the paints he’d use, how he’d protect floors and furniture, the timeline and costs. He also took time to understand how we use our spaces and recommended the best finishes. He arrived early each day, worked professionally, made great suggestions & delivered a very high-quality finish. He goes above and beyond, takes real pride in his work & doesn’t cut corners. Very trustworthy too — we felt comfortable leaving the flat. A great guy!

Marcus has done a fantastic job redecorating my house, including work on my stairs in preparation for a runner. Marcus spent time before hand to make sure I was happy with the colours, and even gave advise on what to do which was much appreciated, of which I followed all of the advice and I am so happy with the outcome! Trustworthy, thoughtful, precise and a very good decorator! Highly recommend and will always be my go to!

Recently had my kitchen redecorated including painting cupboards and tiles. Marcus did an amazing job and transformed the tired old kitchen. Marcus was very professional throughout and I would recommend.

Marcus decorated my Mothers Bungalow after her move from our family home of 61 years! He was very sensitive and respectful of Mums wishes, he helped her choose colours for all rooms so that the colours flowed throughout the bungalow nicely. He also moved furniture for us. Marcus has done an excellent job, making good walls, ceillings and radiator covers as well as other small items. He is very skilled and and tidy and cleans up after each day.

Marcus came back to my property to carry out some wall and bannister touch ups after furniture had been installed in the property. Always such a lovely job which such a lovely persona - couldn’t be more helpful!

We’ve had D M & Son carry out two jobs in our property to date - firstly to paint our living room and then for some touch ups following having fitted units installed, as well as correcting an issue we experienced from a previous painter in our bathroom. We have had an excellent experience both times. Marcus is very quick to respond, explains the process clearly, takes great care with his work and delivers to a very high standard. He’s conscientious around the house and cleans up after he’s finished. We’d definitely recommend Marcus and will be happy to invite him back for future projects.
