A total shambles. We hired DLM to replace three wooden gateposts, but the job was a catalogue of errors.
They dug without proper checks and cut through a mains power cable, causing a local power outage and requiring the electricity company to dig up our tarmac driveway.
DLM then cut our neighbour’s phone line, leading to more digging by BT.
Our previously tidy driveway was left with multiple holes.
DLM applied temporary patches and promised permanent repairs, but despite repeated follow-ups, these were never completed. I cannot recommend DLM.

During this job, which involved replacing 3 posts, an underground power cable was unfortunately struck. Thankfully, no one was injured — something we are extremely grateful for. This was a serious incident that arose due to the cable not being located where it should have been, and in our view was not something that could reasonably have been anticipated or avoided.
We immediately reported the incident to our insurance company to deal with.
We weren't aware of any outstanding concerns, so we genuinely believed the matter had being dealt with
