  Garden base installation

  I am very pleased with the quality of the garden shed base installed by Garden Solutions. The team were professional, arrived on time, and completed the work to a good standard. The base looks solid, level, and well constructed. One thing I did notice is that there is a gap between the ground and the underside of the base. I understand this is intentional to provide ventilation and help protect the timber from damp, which is important. However, because the gap is quite large, I would recommend fitting a galvanised rodent-proof mesh or similar barrier around the perimeter to prevent rats or other rodents from getting underneath while still allowing airflow. Overall, I'm happy with the workmanship and would recommend them. It would just be helpful if rodent-proofing options were discussed or offered as part of the installation.

  Fencing repairs

  Darrin was recommended to us last year and he did not disappoint. He put in 2 substantial posts to secure an unstable fence and also replaced a rotting gate post, so that gate could be closed again. Communication was good and price was fair. He was friendly and helpful.

  Great fence builder

  Darrin gave me useful advice on the types of fence I could have. We chose one supplied and erected by him rather than buying manufactured fence panels. He removed the existing panelling fence and repurposed that in the rear of the garden adding 6 new posts. He and his team installed the new 1800mm height, vertically slatted fence, nailed to cross timbers attached to posts sunk and concreted to a depth of 600mm. He and his team did a brilliant job erecting the fence. It is entirely level along the full height length and depth. They worked hard and efficiently. They cleaned up well after them.

  Front garden revamp

  Dig out grass and plants, prepare ground for stones. All work only took a day & a half. Place left neat and tidy. Very good at keeping in touch

  I was very pleased with Darrin’s approach to the work. He was keen to point out and resolve any issues upfront which meant there were no surprises. He worked conscientiously and made me aware of any problems along the way, providing practical solutions to resolve them. Work was undertaken with care and I’m very pleased with the outcome. I would happily recommend him to anyone and he has carried several projects around the property for me and my neighbours too.

  Needed new posts for fence
