Dmitrij has just renovated our rotting conservatory so we can enjoy it for a few more years. After many bad experiences using over friendly, chatty, can’t quite pin them down on cost and time builders! Many tears shed and lost money. We finally found Dmitrij and have not looked back. He cares about his work and clients. He is very professional and tidy. Invoicing is clear. If it’s on the invoice it will be checked off! If you would like him to do more! Then he will update the invoice. Therefore there is no confusion. I trust him fully and I just leave him the keys and if he needs me he calls.

We have used Dmitrij for many years now to complete all the major refurbishment projects in our house, he is an excellent carpenter, and extremely friendly, punctual and tidy. He is knowledgeable and takes a lot of pride in his work, which is always of a high standard. He is always willing to work with us on our projects and offer any advice or solutions we haven’t thought of. We have always found communication to be great, and he has even helped us find other tradesmen when we have had problems with the original ones. All in all Dmitrij is a great guy and great carpenter, highly recommended

Dmitrij undertook an extensive renovation of our house. He always arrived on time and maintained direct and efficient communication. At no point did I find him to be rude or dismissive. His dedication to maintaining open lines of communication was much appreciated. While tone can sometimes be misinterpreted, I strongly refute the recent review suggesting that he is unprofessional or disrespectful. His commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable as he regularly checked in to ensure we were happy with the progress. This level of dedication is rare and deserves recognition.

I’ve always found Dimitri to be very easy to deal with, he always makes his pricing very clear and there is never any doubt about what he will do, how much it will cost and when he will do it. He starts early, leaves the site very clean at the end of each day and he was considerate of our needs around the house when our children were small. He is also great at coming up with ideas when our plans were unworkable. Dimitri has never let us down on any work we’ve needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any job you need.

We had DK Carpentry rebuild our extension, fit a new kitchen and small toilet, and do all the joinery — and we couldn’t be happier. They were professional, tidy, and great to have around. Every detail was spot on, and they’d show us how level and precise everything was as they went. We were kept updated at every stage and always felt involved. The quality and finish are excellent — highly recommend DK Carpentry for top-notch, reliable workmanship!

Dmitrij offered a quick, decent quote and started right away, but the experience was awful. He arrived late both days, was rude and dismissive, refused to clarify details, and even sent a blank VAT invoice. While the work itself was acceptable, his attitude, poor communication, and lack of professionalism made it stressful. I trusted him as he was the expert instead the responses were unnecessarily rude, with comments such as “my time is not for free,” “I don’t give options to quotes as people think I’m adding stuff on for nothing,” and “listen once as I won’t repeat myself again. Avoid.
