We hired Dan to complete some renovations in our house that involved some tricky steel work. He gave us great advice, including dealing with building control, and got on with the project in really good time. Lovely team of lads who were super polite and helpful. We're very pleased with the final result and Dan's been generous with his time helping us novices with advice on other aspects of the house that we have to tackle. All in all it was great to have someone we could trust, communicated well and with a great sense of humour to see us through what is always a stressful process!!

I hired Dan and his Team over the summer to create and project manage an open-plan kitchen / lounge area. The team were professional, friendly, and extremely considerate. They took the time to understand my vision and offered helpful suggestions to enhance the space both functionally and aesthetically. They maintained excellent communication, kept the site tidy, and were always respectful of the fact that we were living in the house during the building works. We had a great experience with D J Wagland. To start with, Dan is very communicative and generous with sharing information and his time, to ensure you feel comfortable and informed. Secondly, the work was carried out quickly and efficiently. Our work required building control approval and Dan helped with the process, completing the correct forms, and met the building control team on site with us. We felt that Dan and his team actually cared about doing a good job.

They gave an itemised quote which was good to sanity check. They honoured it. Asked for the simplest habitable decor and also for them to make sensible choices for light / doors / radiator / window as we didn't care about the details just needed the extra room. They did it well.

Dan and his team have recently completed converting my garage to a home office/studio. They've done a great job, and have kept me up to date with the progress whenever I've worked from home. His team were very friendly and approachable, super knowledgeable about the work they were doing, and ensured all was clean and tidy before the end of each day. The main work and the final touches are all great, and I would definitely recommend them for any building job you are considering.
