Darren did a fantastic job for us at short notice and in 35 degree heat! he turned the paint strew floors of our bungalow to looking like new, so glad we found him a lovely friendly chap and would recomend him and use him again.

Darren helped us choose the most suitable flooring (engineered oak) and fitted our new floor and skirting boards in our lounge. We’ve booked him for another room and have recommended to friends and family. Very helpful and knowledgeable about wood, carpentry and flooring.

Outstanding work from Darren! After some stressful experiences with other tradesmen, he was a breath of fresh air. Friendly, professional and just an all-round lovely guy. He quickly identified the correct subfloor preparation needed, adapted when challenges arose and kept everything moving smoothly. The engineered oak tongue-and-groove flooring has been fitted to a very high standard with great attention to detail. He even made clever use of off-cuts and sourced extra flooring when we ran short. Completed everything in a day and exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

Darren has just installed a very beautiful engineered oak floor in our bedroom and conservatory. We are delighted with the result. It was a great pleasure working with Darren from start to finish. He gave excellent advice about choice of materials and options for layout. Darren picked up on our taste/style and has created a floor which fits in with the rest of our house beautifully, and enhances the room much more than we could have imagined: it's totally transformed. We had an on-site visit and were given an accurate and acceptable quote. The work was carried out promptly, and respect was shown to our home, with minimal disruption. The end result is amazing! It turned out that our floor is solid walnut which we were not expecting. All the marks and blemishes have gone. The floor looks the best it has ever done during all the time we have been here.
