Adam and his team transformed our staircase with a brilliant job. They stripped victorian wood steps, mending damage with great skill, stained and sealed them before painting a bespoke finish. They then redecorated the whole area. They were friendly and calm, no request was too much trouble and they were neat and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending Distinctive Builders for any job...no matter how complex.

Adam was efficient, friendly and professional. The work was completed to a high standard and was competitively priced. I was delighted to see the end result - a newly decorated and refurbished flat in a just a matter of weeks. I would certainly recommend Distinctive Builders.

Adam & his team completed a total refit of my kitchen and I’m absolutely delighted. The team (Adam, Raf and Poitr) worked through a heatwave & managed tidily, efficiently & with good humour. All in very good time, cleaning up as they went. The kitchen supplier made ‘mistakes’ both before & during the refit & Adam dealt with them professionally. He spotted miscalculations they’d made & how to rectify. It was a shock to me that the supplier acted like this but he took it all calmly. The team then went on to paint my large bedroom, & to re-render an outer garden wall.

I felt really confident at first as the initial visit was professional with a follow up email but unfortunately, 4 weeks later I have not received any further communication, which is disappointing. I think I would recommend them based on first impression and previous reviews but unfortunately, I am unable to comment further.

Adam, Raf and the building team did a wonderful job. Attention to detail and quality of workmanship was obvious across plumbing, decorating, taking a wall down, putting a wall up, replacing ceilings, putting in a pocket door, making bookshelves and fitting a kitchen, amongst other thing. They communicated well and were reliable, polite and professional at all times. They went out of their way to be helpful and considerate and took care to clean up each evening. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I needed botched shelving jobs redone and Adam was recommended. He and his colleague did them all in one day, including some other patching of a cupboard. They kept everything clean and tidied up very well. I'm learning the extent of types of work they can do and will certainly be calling them in again when I need.
