  an Chapman recently carried out painting and decorating work at my mum’s house following severe water damage, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Ian showed genuine compassion and empathy towards my elderly mother, which meant a great deal to our family during a stressful time. He worked incredibly hard to complete the job and the standard of his work was fantastic. Reliable, kind, and highly skilled — we’re extremely grateful for everything he did.

  Ian redecorated our living room and hall to a very high standard. He was polite, hard-working and punctual. He offered sensible advice before starting the work, based on his own long experience, which made the result even better. We recommend him very highly.

  Plastering and Redecoration

  Ian plastered two ceilings ( one after past electrical alterations), redecorated Hall, Stairs, Landing and Lobby, including 24 door sides with their frames. He sets a high standard and applied hard work and great care and attention to all aspects of the work. He gave good advice re paints and best solutions to any problems and wanted us to be happy at all stages. We are very happy with the way the work was carried out, with the standard of the end result - which looks so good- and the price was reasonable.

  I hired Ian Chapman to decorate my kitchen diner, study, and utility rooms while I was on holiday, and I am beyond impressed. His workmanship and attention to detail were exceptional, and he flawlessly redecorated these rooms . Ian's pricing was very reasonable, especially given the exceptional standard, with no hidden costs. His trustworthiness allowed me to leave my home with complete peace of mind. I returned to beautifully transformed rooms. I highly recommend Ian for his skill, reliability, and fantastic service!
