  I have no hesitation in recommending Darren Halstead if you need a drive tarmacing .He and his men did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. When they had finished the job they cleared all the mess away and even swept the neighbours driveway as well. I am delighted with the standard of his work..

  Remodel of Garden & Driveway

  We had a very thorough survey & quotation undertaken prior to any work starting. During the survey we were able to discuss various design options before committing to any work commencing onsite. The team worked diligently throughout the project meeting agreed costs & timescales. At the end of each working day the site was left clean & tidy including neighbouring properties & the public highway. The hard work & skills set put into this project is reflected in the excellent finish we now look at each day. Thank you DC Halstead.

  Quality is everything and these guys are where it’s at. It’s always a bit daunting when picking a company to do, what I’d consider, a large project. We picked D.C. Halstead Tarmacadam and Paving from spotting a job they were working on round the corner from where we live whilst walking the dog. We kept a close eye on their progress and decided to book them after seeing the result to tarmac our decaying driveway. Long story short, these guys are professionals and really know what they’re doing. My wife works from home so she was able to watch the progress as our driveway took shape. It so

  Driveway replacement

  Darrell and his team did a fantastic job on replacing two areas of driveway for us. Both jobs had some challenging aspects with awkward access, different levels and slopes, adjoining areas etc. but they solved everything and discussed all aspects with us to make sure we were happy. The preparation, excavation, edging stones etc. done mainly by team was excellent and again brilliant communication and really easy to get on with and discuss options. Could not be more pleased with the final result, would definitely recommend.

  Replacement of double width driveway that previously experience poor drainage.

  Darrell's excellent reputation preceded him. A close neighbour had a new driveway installed by his company a few years ago and I was able to see how well it had stood the test of time. Additionally, a friend who'd had work done by Darrell spoke highly of his work from their own personal experience. My old driveway was paved, broken in many places, uneven, and became waterlogged whenever it rained due to the clay subsoil. Darrell provided drainage solutions as well as a high quality tar mac finish driveway that I am confident will last many years to come.

  Driveway

  Darrell and his team are true professionals and I would highly recommend them. They did a brilliant job which I know will last. Joel who did the excavation and preparation work went above and beyond who also recommended a brick border around the perimeter to compliment the look, which we are glad we went with. No corners were cut even when the excavation work was bigger than expected after they realised they would need to dig down further to reach a suitable subsoil. Thank you very much, we are very pleased with the end result.
