  We recently had Danny lay a new patio for us and it was great having him doing the work for us. He has quoted for us before on other jobs ( unfortunately our timings didn’t match on those occasions ) and each time has produced a clear and comprehensive quote. This job presented him with some challenges but nothing was a problem and he & Jamie turned up each day when they said they would with a smile! Danny is always open to discussing any small tweaks and generally quite flexible, within reason of course. We would highly recommend DB Groundworks.

  Block paving repair

  Dan and his sidekick Jamie came to lift our block paving driveway which was gapping due to poor installation in the first instance, fit new coping and relay the block paving. Fortunately the weather was kind for them and they did a great job over 3 days. Very tidy and two really personable young men. Would strongly recommend DB groundworks for any groundworks jobs. Well done boys.

  Lift block paving for broadband install and re-fit once complete.

  Danny and his team are fantastic. Turn up when they say they will, more than happy to work around your schedule as well. We were having new fibre broadband installed and had specific install dates to work around, Danny was able to turn up the day before, lift the paving whilst tidying up the open hole and making it safe for our children. He then returned the morning after broadband install and put the paving back to exactly the same standard as previous, you could barely tell he had been there which is the sign of a great trade. Clean work, great communication and would definitely recommend 5*

  Creation of a new block paved hardstanding.

  I wanted the whole of my front garden laid to block paving. This would allow me to park my car without problems finding space in the road. I asked DB Groundwork’s for a quote. Danny, the owner, arrived on time and, after measuring the area concerned, explained in detail what he would have to do. He explained the depth that he would have to excavate to and how he would fill in to seat the blocks. He also explained about drainage for the new block paved area. This would need a soak away. I decided to go ahead and I am EXTREMELY pleased with the result. I thoroughly recommend DB Groundwork’s.

  Excavate then relay rear patio

  Dan and the team were asked to remove an existing patio, excavate garden and lay a new one. All work had to come through house as that was only access to rear garden. Absolutely wonderful job and could not be more pleased. Really high standard of work, really tidy, and really great guys. I highly recommend Dan for all landscaping jobs.

  Removed old crazy paving and laid new slabs, also fitted a handrail.

  Dan & Charlie worked hard all day, tidying up at the end of each day. Very friendly and we're very happy with the job they did.
