Our mother of 96 years had a series of problems in her house and we took on someone to fix them who was recommended by his wife (a family friend). He lied his way through a lot of her savings and caused huge damage to her house. We were lucky to find Steve who has fixed the problems caused in a totally professional manner and shown real sensitivity to mum's condition and the awful state her home was left in.

This was a small job with a view to more work later. So far so good. Excellent in fact.

Steve and his crew updated my very dated bathroom and toilet and knocked them into one room They were all very polite and curtious and professional also cleaned up after every day. The job was completed to a very high standard and I now have a bathroom that I am very pleased with.

We got a few tradespeople to speak to us and quote for a garage conversion. Steve was exceptionally clear about what needed to be done, explaining things in layperson terms, and said he could help us with all the paperwork needed. This made the decision to pick Davies Refurbishment for the job an obvious one. When the work was carried out, it was to a great standard. Nothing was too much for them to help out with and they were so friendly that my pre-schooler decided she wanted to be a builder after they finished!

As my previous “regular” builder had retired, I was nervous about getting someone I didn’t know to change the layout of my house, and sought recommendations from friends for a reliable builder to undertake the work. Steve called and we discussed the changes we planned and he listened to what we wanted, and offers a few suggestions as to how we could achieve it. The quote arrived on time, and we were happy with the price quoted which we thought was reasonable and competitive. Steve and his team did an amazing job; and I will definitely have them back should I need any further work!
