I contacted Check a Trade as I needed to modernise several metal doorways with new hinges and doors on my bungalow. Steve and his crew of technicians were the only people to respond positively, they did the work expertly, and I now have beautiful new doors fitted and painted with the old hinges filed away. I also asked Steve to put in a new kitchen and bathroom, and thought it would be a good opportunity to to have the rest of my bungalow brought up to date too. Steve has project managed the whole operation, and used his skilled workmen to complete my home renovation to the highest stand.

Steve and his team did a fantastic job, removing render from the house, cladding, re-rendering and painting, plus other work on top to make the outside of the house look fantastic. Great communication throughout, work of the highest quality, everyone that walks past is commenting how great the house looks. The team work tirelessly throughout the day, clearing up at the end of each day, Steve would be on site daily to check in and answer any queries we had. I would thoroughly recommend, and without doubt, any future work I need doing on the house, I won’t hesitate to use Steve and his team.

Our mother of 96 years had a series of problems in her house and we took on someone to fix them who was recommended by his wife (a family friend). He lied his way through a lot of her savings and caused huge damage to her house. We were lucky to find Steve who has fixed the problems caused in a totally professional manner and shown real sensitivity to mum's condition and the awful state her home was left in.

This was a small job with a view to more work later. So far so good. Excellent in fact.

Steve and his crew updated my very dated bathroom and toilet and knocked them into one room They were all very polite and curtious and professional also cleaned up after every day. The job was completed to a very high standard and I now have a bathroom that I am very pleased with.
