I had the privilege to sweep a chimney in the Banqueting Room of the Royal Pavilion. The conservation department were concern that debris was falling down the chimney. I conducted a CCTV inspection and found loose chimney lining and brick dust. A thorough sweep eliminated this and the chimney flue was given a clean bill of health.
