Darren undertook painting and decorating of my 2 bed apartment which had recently had structural refurb. He was polite, professional and reliable throughout . He worked diligently and has a real eye for detail. He was helpful in offering expert advice and was supportive throughout. I would highly recommend Darren and am delighted with the results of his work

I engaged Darren to remove a dead hedge and errect a new fence. Darren and his team were friendly and professional from quote to finished job. The job was completed efficiently with minimum mess and I am very pleased with end result.

I would not recommend Darren to anyone. I paid half up front and, while I was away, my family found the turf laid badly gaps, dry patches, uneven levels, and edges on mortar. Darren blamed “shrinkage,” but it had been watered well. When challenged, he was threatening about payment but promised to fix it. Instead, he dropped a few scraps of turf into the same gaps and left without speaking to me. We also discovered no weed control barrier was used,after just 10 days weeds were already growing through slate and decking.The pergola was poorly built, out of alignment and not even at 90 degrees

We hired Darren to lay a new flagged patio area and path in our garden. Along with this we wanted a step extending and some sleepers fitting to the side of the flower beds. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I’m writing this because I wouldn’t want anyone to experience what we did. The preparation work was inadequate, for example, no hardcore was used and the area wasn’t flattened and levelled. Darren took up the turf, put some sand down and then laid the flags on that, concreted. The flags laid were far from level with each other. Several were at different heights to the adjacent one
