  We needed a door turned round to open the other way and wanted to use a local guy. I found Darren here on Checkatrade and took a chance based on the reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Darren is a friendly and professional carpenter who did a superb job for us. No mess, no hassle, a great finish - very happy customer! We will certainly call on Darren again for future work and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

  Highly Recommend – Five-Star Service

  Darren fitted a couple of internal oak doors and rectified an issue with another door. The quality of work and attention to detail was second to none. Highly recommend. He was also quick to respond to our enquiring and managed to fit us in at short notice.

  Booked in the work very promptly, arrived on time, confirmed what was needed before starting, carried out the work quickly and to a high standard and was professional, but also personable. Excellent. I hope to book in further work soon.

  Fit & hang a internal door

  Darren provided an outstanding service from start to finish. His communication was excellent throughout, keeping me informed every step of the way, and he really went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed to the highest standard. The workmanship in fitting and hanging my interior door was first class. The attention to detail was exceptional, and the finished result is absolutely perfect.   staircase fixed, Fabulous service.

  I posted a request on Friday 3/7/26 and Darren Lee contacted me within the hour and he arranged to attend my address on Monday 6/7/26 when he quoted for the work and explained what he would do to fix my collapsing bottom three stairs. Darren stated he could do the job today, Tuesday 7/7/26,and arrived promptly as I was going out and I was happy to leave him alone. By mid afternoon he sent me a quantity of pictures of the work carried out informing me that the work was done. on my return home I found that the fixed stairs were rock solid and the carpet had been replaced and the are was spotless. Thank you Darren for your professionalism from start to finish and I highly recommend him as tradesmen as good as Darren are like gold dust. 10/10
