Friendly and professional communication throughout, from booking my initial free damp inspection to completion of the work. To me, it looked like quite a big job, but John and co were able to take care of everything in around 6 hours on the day itself. The finished result was great, and I was impressed by their efforts to protect my furniture from the dust generated by the work. The quote was very reasonable, too. You can rely on John and his team for sure, I even felt relaxed leaving them alone working while I went out for a nearby appointment.

I contacted D & J Damproofing because of the excellent reviews on Checkatrade. Speaking to John we agreed a time he would visit. On attending he assured me straight away that it was not a major problem, he told me what to do so I could correct the issue myself and reassured me that if I had any further issues to contact him again. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

This is the second time I have used D&J Damproofing and on both occasions I have been very pleased with their work. Totally reliable. Communicated well, reasonable prices, no hidden costs, turned up on time and tidied up afterwards. Could not ask for more.

Very professional. Did the work quickly and went out of their way to limit dust in doing what was always going to be dirty work. They explained everything fully and showed me as they went along each step. Also got a 10 year guarantee certificate. So pleased with the work they did and by far the best price we were quoted for the same work, by a long way! Can’t recommend them enough.

The living room had penetrating damp on 3 sides which included the gable end of the house. John took the time to explain the whole process. The team arrived early and never stopped. The walls required stripping all the way back and the team covered everything with plastic that couldnt be moved and were constantly hoovering etc and even mopped at the end. I cannot recommend this company enough. This is the second job I have had done and they are excellent.

Excellent service attended on time to quote, explained condensation and black mould in detail. Very helpful and informative and friendly nothing was too much trouble for him. Arrived on time on the fitting day (well actually slightly before which was no issue) , explained the process again, completed the job and cleaned up. John and his son make a great team. Excellent service will highly recommend to everyone including friends and family and will be using him again in the very near future for another job.
