  Repair of brickwork under window

  Dave came and repaired some shoddy brickwork underneath a window and made it look as good as new! Really happy with his work, he was punctual, clean and tidy. We will absolutely use him again.

  Brilliant

  Fantastic, I am so chuffed with the completed work. There's a reason this company is Checkatrade. I can't believe how quickly it was done. Dave was great, very personable and knowledgeable and gave great advice. The company didn't ask for any deposit or full payment until the work was completed. Fully recommended. I will deffo be phoning DAM Brickwork again if I require some more work.

  Fixing the wall of my front garden

  Dave was super fast, he responded to the job on checkatrade almost immediately after he was contacted and offered a good price. The next day at 9AM he already carried out the job. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and also offered free advice on the state of my front wall for the years to come. The cleanup afterwards was perfect. He was a joy to work with and I warmly recommend him to anybody.

  Brilliant customer service and job done

  I used CheckaTrade to contact some brick layers. I’m so glad I did because David from DAM got in touch. Incredibly efficient, polite and helpful. Job done two days later and what a great job! Brick colours matched and super smart. I and my neighbours are really pleased, and they’ve asked for more work to be done. Communication was great - no long waits or nil responses. Really took the stress out of the situation which is worth a lot! It’s very hard to get responses on the whole, which not be further from the case here. Highly recommend and will definitely be in touch again. Thank you!

  Wall tie replacement, bar insertion and repointing

  Once again I have been really impressed by Dave’s diligence, care, skill and attention to detail. He has done several smaller projects for me before repairing a side wall. I had no hesitation employing his services again, this time on a much larger project on the weather worn wall above a conservatory roof. He has kept me informed of progress, always arrived on time and worked extremely tidily. I will happily seek his advice and skills for further projects on my aging 1920s brick house.

  Airbricks and Helifix bars

  We had some queries from a surveyor regarding airbricks and Helifix bars on our 1930s house. We contacted Dave for advice as he had fitted our Helifix bars back in 2016 and built a porch and repainted the house in 2018. Dave came round very quickly on a weekend to help us. He checked all the potential concerns and gave really helpful advice and reassuring information. This allowed us to answer the survey questions with confidence and the opinion of an expert. We would 100% recommend Dave for any building and brickwork jobs there is literally nothing he doesn't know about bricks!
