Robert arrived promptly to fix an issue with my boxed in toilet cistern which was repeatedly flushing by itself (ghost/phantom flushing). He had been in touch soon after adding my job to the Checkatrade app on Saturday. He quickly identified there was an issue with a small, loose piece of silicone stopping the flapper inside the cistern from closing fully and removed it with care after discovering what the issue was. Due to the simple fix I was not charged the full amount previously estimated when I first sent the photos of my cistern to Robert via the app. Recommended.

It’s not often you get to deal with a tradesman who communicates well, does the work he said to a high standard and when they say they will. Well that is exactly what I got with Cowan Plumbing. Would definitely use again.

Robert has carried out a few jobs for me now. On this occasion we had water running from an overflow pipe coming from the loft. Robert fixed the problem in the simplest and most inexpensive way possible, as always. I would highly recommend using Cowan Plumbing & heating.
