  Fix top-hung window which was not closing completely.

  initially asked for hinges to be changed. Dave immediately spotted that the hinges were fine and the issue was with the mushroom keep that needed to be fixed which he did. And then Dave changed his pricing for the work to 30% of what we had agreed. I gave him 50%. A very well deserved couple of pints on me.

  New windows & door fitted perfectly.

  I am so pleased with my new windows and front door. The workmanship both inside and out is very neat and tidy. I have no making good work to do. Neighbours have commented how good it all looks and even took David's card with a view to getting work done. David worked for three days on his own to fit 2 bay windows, 1 small bedroom window and a front door & small porch window. There were some issues down to the window maker & a broken pane of glass but David got these sorted without delaying the overall job. Chased him over a scratched pane but I cannot complain as the final result is perfect.

  Received a reasonable quotation from Dave. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I appreciated the helpfulness and guidance received during Dave’s initial visit. Upon reviewing quote, decided to offer Dave the work. All work completed to a high standard. David is courteous, friendly and respectful. Will return to Dave for a replacement front door soon.

  repair of bi-fold door handle

  Dave was prompt, friendly, tidy and efficient. He kept in good contact. He was able to simply and quickly identify and rectify the problem with the bi-fold door handle. He also rebalanced the glazing units in the old UPVC doors so they open and close more smoothly which should hopefully make future problems less likely. Very happy with his work. Would definitely call him again if we need any more window or bifold door repairs or installations.
