  Blocked paving

  I was lucky enough to bump into Mike as he was doing a quote for someone else. He took the time to look at my requirements and recommended a block paved driveway for both myself and my neighbour. He was able to undertake the work within a few days of the quotatio. Mike and his team worked without breaks over the two days and did an amazing job. Friendly honest and very hard-working and I thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

  Asked for an EMAIL estimate; got 10 missed calls!

  10 missed calls despite specifically stating in my ad that I cannot take calls due to work and to please email! Even a text would have been good to ask a GOOD TIME to call. I sent a text to ask who it was during a toilet break and got another call! Eventually answered one to stop my phone buzzing, said I cant take calls and had to hang up, got another 2 missed calls clesrly out of spite!! This is borderline harassment and not acceptable when someone states how they would like to be contacted.

  Driveway Pressure Cleaned and Resanded

  Country Style Driveways was pressure cleaning a neighbours driveway with a heavy duty compressor pump. They did such a good job I asked them to do my driveway also, which they did. I'm really glad I did, it looks as good as when it was first laid. I found them to be approachable and professional. I would happily recommend them.

  To lift collapsed blockwork, dig out and lay foundations then re lay and extend blockwork area.

  Of the 3 quotes requested CSD was the first to respond. I supplied a drawing of what was required. Michael made 1 or 2 sensible suggestions and gave a quote on the spot of £4.5K and 2 to 3 days work. The other two companies were less helpful and quoted 5 to 7 days work and up to £20K. Work started 8 days later and was completed in 2.5 days. The team of 3 arrived at 8.30 with mini digger, truck, jack hammer wacker plate and barrows then worked tirelessly cutting out, laying hardcore then sand before kerb stones, blocking out and finishing. A pleasure to watch them work. All clean at end.
