With regard to the price, we quoted £160+VAT for parts and labour over the phone after diagnosis. You confirmed you were happy for us to proceed.
As a small local independent company, our policy is always to provide clear pricing before starting any works.
You were under no obligation, and able to decline the estimate or seek an alternative quotation.
For context, Rangemaster currently charge £212+VAT for labour alone, plus the cost of parts. Their total charge would be over £300.
We hope this provides clarification.
