Colin painted our dining room. Having used Colin before at my previous property I knew he would deliver a high quality service. He is thorough in preparing the room before painting, filling and making good any issues with the walls or ceilings. We had our room painted mainly a dark green other than the skirting, ceilings, the wall above the picture rail and 2 alcoves which were white and Colin did a very good job in leaving a sharp contract between the white and the green. Would strongly recommend.

Colin redecorated our 'tired' house while we were on holiday. It was a big job, for which he called in his son to help. No issues with trusting Colin (and Craig) and giving him a key and full run of the house. Came back to a very nice, fresh and clean 'new home'! Walls, ceiling, doors and bannister all looked superb, while the patching work across the house (cracks, ceiling nail pops, spotlight removal and hole cut in stud wall) was seemless. He'd been let down by an electrician while we were away, but managed to source another to keep everything on track. Really pleased we chose Colin!

Colin carried out decorating works to my bathroom and bedroom. He did a fantastic job, was punctual, polite and respectful of my home. The work was carried out to a very high standard and I would have no issue recommending him.

Colin painted a bedroom and did a very good job. We’re very pleased with the result. He used ScuffX paint which gives a lovely finish. We found Colin to be pleasant to have in our home and we will definitely be asking him back to do more work in the future.

I contacted a few decorators and received several quotes, but ultimately chose Colin Wheatley after being impressed by the photos of his previous work on Checkatrade. I'm so glad I did — Colin did an outstanding job and completely transformed the exterior of my house. He was reliable, trustworthy, and clearly takes pride in his work. The quality and attention to detail really stood out. I’ll definitely be getting in touch with him again next year to decorate the inside of my house. Highly recommended!

Colin worked on a big job with us on a regency property in Cheltenham - doing a full spec job of painting 2 x large building wall facias, (4 external floors) and all the window frames. He also matched the style and variety of colours and paint specs perfectly. The work he did was of a very high standard - a pleasure to work with.
