  Drain blockage job

  Very impressed with the job done by both Gary (initially) and follow up works carried out by George to unblock drain and removal of large build-up of scale/sediment. Kept us in the loop with their findings and all in all, carried out a very professional job. Also, very happy with the reception/admin team too who were most helpful and professional at all times......sadly, a rarity these days!

  Great service for drain problems.

  I had blocked drains so I phoned Costal Drains. A very pleasant lady answered the phoned and after I described the problem with my/neighbour drains she promised to send a help that afternoon. 3 hours later Gary arrived with the equipment and swiftly fixed the problem. I was very impressed with speed my problem was dealt with. The next day I phoned Costal Drains’s office with reference to the payment and I spoke to another very pleasant, courteous and helpful young lady. It is so uplifting dealing with very nice, helpful persons. I would definitely use this company again if needed.

  Gary was excellent

  Absolutely brilliant Gary was out in a flash to help us with a house we were buying and he put our minds to rest. I do recommend them and Gary as he explained everything to us. This is the second time I’ve used coastal dreams. They are brilliant 10 out of 10 thank you, Gary. 👌👍👍

  Use someone else

  Six weeks after a failed job, I still have sewage in the garden so, in short, use someone else. A dreadful experience which, after two hours left me with hundreds of litres of sewage in the garden and a drain still blocked. Two days later someone from elsewhere came out and cleared it with no mess in 5 minutes. For the privilege of having Coastal not do the job, I was originally charged well over £600, later reduced after complaining. There are plenty of drain clearance businesses out there and I would not touch Coastal Drains again with a barge pole (which may have been more effective).

  We received an email from you on 09/01/26 confirming that your complaint had been dealt with satisfactorily and the matter was closed, so we are extremely disappointed that you have still left us this negative review. This job was an emergency call out on the evening of Saturday 27th December. Clearly a premium rate was charged but later reduced as we could not unblock the manhole. The other company was Southern water as the block was in the public sewer pipework, which we are not allowed to perform work on. Our engineer contacted SW for the customer and was asked to wash the patio down.

  Prior to building work for a new extension, I requested Coastal Drains to conduct a drain survey at the rear of our property. The office team were extremely helpful in arranging a suitable date and time. And on the day, Gary, the engineer arrived promptly, was polite and very knowledgeable. He worked quickly and efficiently, gave me a verbal summary of the survey of which was then followed up by a written version the following week. He left the site clean and tidy and was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Coastal Drains ltd.

  First class

  From first contact on the phone to the finish when the drains were cleared the service was polite and efficient, first class and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
