The consumer messaged on the 13th for some more information regarding fan types and on the 18th December then he asked to price a completely different spec of fan for the installation and required a speed controller. He asked what the availability was like and at this point it was early January before he asked me for a new quote. At no point during this when I asked him to confirm he required a new estimate was a date mentioned. We closed down for Christmas 20th Dec- 6th Jan. Wholesaler finally came back to me on the 3rd January and I messaged him on sunday 5th January whilst on annual leave to confirm the new price. After he asked about a different fan again which was not suited we agreed on the final spec. I informed him that my new nearest available appointment was the 4th Feb but if anything comes up earlier through cancellations I would gladly fit him in to his dislike. He believes that the works should be carried out in early January despite the new estimate not being completed and agreed on and I should let other customers down to fit him in. He then followed up with giving me an ultimatum to either fit him in January for 100% of the estimate or if he had to wait till Feb I should give him a 25% discount or he will find someone else. I wished him luck with his search and left the chat. When trying to contact him today (6th) as he stated he was happy for me to contact him about the negative feedback he has blocked me.
