  Chris built a brick retaining wall for me. He was really friendly. Has a great wealth of knowledge. Knew exactly what I needed. Couldn’t recommend him enough. Great job well done!

  Chris and his team did an amazing job from start to finish. very well priced and very knowledgeable about what I wanted. clean and tidy workmanship. over all finish was brilliant. The rain held him up a bit but he did not want to carry out the work without it being the right conditions for an excellent job.

  Stone Wall Rebuild - Never Happened!

  Contacted CMJ on 02 Aug 2023 for a quote to have our stone wall rebuilt. He visited, measured up and quoted by text with little detail other than price. We agreed and asked for a start date. Told 3-4 weeks, but it never happened. Lots of excuses until end of Nov when more of our wall fell down. He agreed to visit and assess but suddenly asked for the dimensions again, then said he couldn't do it unless we paid for materials! We responded but he has not answered any texts since. Totally unprofessional behaviour after we were patient and polite throughout. 5 months totally wasted!

  Fireplaces repointing and chimney stack support

  Chris and Steve have been working for us through Summer and into Winter. They’ve been courteous throughout every interaction and carried out works to great. From the very start they were clear about working hours, breaks and rates. We found them to be extremely reliable, very good listeners and can’t wait to have them back in a few weeks time to fit a window in a brick wall. Would recommend throughout.
