    Collin cleared and fixed our guttering and attached our new back garden gate (Also removed the decaying old one). He did a first class job and although he was working in 6 degree temperatures he remained cheerful and friendly the whole time. Would definitely recommend!

    Colin was so easy to deal with. Good availability, good price and even helped with paint colour options. Very professional. Delighted with his work and our newly painted kitchen & utility. Will definitely use Colin again. such a nice guy, would recommend.

    Colin has just completed another decorating job for me. As usual, Colin carried out the work to a high standard, was always on time, polite and kept me informed of progress. Colin has carried out works for me previously, both inside and outside. I would have no hesitation in recommending Colin to family and friends, and any future works I need doing Colin would be the person I would use.

Welcome to CLS Painting Decorating and Home Improvements.

My name is Collin Staines and I specialise in internal / external painting and decorating. I work hard to uphold a business you and rely on and trust. I have many years experience behind me and have painted / decorated peoples's homes, businesses and care homes. I am based in Hockley and enjoy working in this area and up to 40 miles from it.

I generally work on my own but have a close group of other trusted trades people that I can call upon if the project requires additional man power or other trades. I am also lucky enough to have a talented wife who sometimes works with me , this way my over heads are kept small and I can keep my prices down.

Our customers are very important to us and therefore we work closely with them from the initial thoughts / concepts to guidance on the best suitable and quality products to use, right through to the finished project.

We respect your property and therefore work hard to do the best possible job and that includes taking great care of your property. We use "Mirka" dust free sanding equipment so that you can come back to a clean and tidy home.

We offer free no obligation quotes which are clear and straight forward. We are happy to look at small projects such as repainting a few doors to renovating a whole house so why not give us a call.
