  Handyman to remove boards in loft

  The person who responded did not come to my house to check the space to give a quote. He asked me for measurements and details of area. I am unable to climb ladders up to the loft, and felt that this was something he should do as part of the job, so naturally found someone else, would think twice about engaging checkatrade again

  Lots of smaller jobs

  Chris took on something like 10 or 12 jobs around our house that we'd had trouble getting to. Some of them, including installing a particular type of baby gate, were quite fiddly. Others were cumbersome, like taking down a heavy sun shade. Chris did a great job, was quick, and his communication and professionalism are excellent. He replied quickly to everything, showed up when he said he would, was professional and courteous, and even came back within days to tweak something we asked him to. Really nice to work with and very reliable. Definitely recommend.
