I used Checkatrade to make contact with a painter and decorator to paint my rental flat after 8 years with previous tenants. It was desperately in need of a top to bottom makeover. I had 3 quotes but Clayton was first to respond and gave me his professional opinion of what was needed. As I would not be a the flat I was able to trust Clayton with the keys to come and go and lock up when he was finished. Clayton carried out a full repaint with an assistant and completed the job before Christmas. All work was done well and efficiently in a short timeframe. Trustworthy and professional

Clayton replied to my request and made the effort to visit to provide me with a quote. He was punctual and completed the job within a tight time frame, would recommend.

Clayton replied to my request asap and made the effort to come and view the job prior to quoting us. He then made some recommendations about paint that he felt would suit our property because it is rented and completed the job and sent a video to show us. Super efficient and great to contact. Would highly recommend!

Booked Clayton to do painting external property. Agreed price of £550 to include materials. He agreed to start on Monday 11/08/25. On Monday at 8:57 am he sent me a text message to say he could not make it as he had secured another job! I had previously explain explained to him that my work needed to be done this week so that I could arrange for my scaffolding to go and I need to book to get my driveway completed. I have messaged him all day however he is refusing to complete my work. I had to cancel urgently my Driveway and for my scaffolding to be taken away he is very unreliable and rude!

Glad we chose Clayton to decorate our flat, he did an amazing job at patching up any damage from old wardrobes/screws, before painting it very efficiently!
