  Honest, reliable and professional

  Dale did a few jobs for me, including electrical work. He was honest about the work involved, gave good advice on what was worth doing/not doing, didn’t overcharge, was reliable and communicative as well as respectful and friendly while in the house. I’ve recommended him to others and wouldn’t hesitate to give him more work. He provided a few less expensive solutions for a home office and gave me reassurance over a previous bad wiring jobs.   Work carried out to a very high standard

  In March 2026 I used Dale to carry out electrical work & to fit plasterboard to a ceiling & walls. Apart from being a very skillful carpenter he is also a qualified electrician. The work was carried out to a very high standard. He was always very prompt at replying to my emails & phone calls. He always kept to the appointment times we arranged & he is totally trust worthy. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

  Replacement of 2 wooden pillars for porch

  I needed replacement pillars for a canopy / porch. Dale of Clash Carpentry answered my query almost instantly, he arranged to come and view the work and provided a recommendation and quote within days. The pillars were replaced and painted on the days arranged. Dale ensured I was happy and communicated clearly and politely throughout. Thoroughly recommend

  Basement Lightwell Window fitted

  We had Dale make and fit a basement light well window. Dale was very professional and communicative on what we could and couldn’t do. Made it all very easy throughout the process. We are very happy with our new window over the lightwell. Outcome was great and all done in a timely manner. Would recommend Dale to anyone no problem.

  Dale installed a new lift hatch, ladder and light and also reroofed a large outbuilding for me

  Dale is absolutely excellent very professional and did an outstanding job on both the loft hatch and the reroofing. All the work was completed to a fantastic standard and everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the job. I have recommended him to other people on the basis of the great work he did for me and he is coming back in the spring to do more work for me. A great carpenter
