  Got CJT in to replaster two rooms (upstairs bedroom and living room downstairs).

  CJT was absolutely brilliant - Chris is really really helpful and very patient. Me and my partner have no idea about plastering etc but Chris explained it in a really simple and easy to understand manner. He has since been round again to check an unrelated issue we’re having (penetrating damp) - even though this had nothing to do with the work he did, he still came over to have a look. Cannot recommended CJT enough and will definitely book them again!

  Wall repair and replastering

  Chris (CJT Home Improvements) responded promptly and visited to provide a quote. Communication was excellent as was the work he completed. He did a brilliant job for a fair price and I would highly recommend him and would definitely contact again for future work.

  Plastered bathroom Ceiling

  Chris was fantastic. Quick and clean work. To top it off, as a person who likes to give things a try, he was helpful in explaining where I went wrong. Would happily book more work with them in the future.

  Full house plastering and boarding in places

  I've recently bought a wrecked property to renovate, one of the many jobs needed was Plastering. Several people came out to give me quotes on Plastering, where most would walk in look around and give me a quote and leave. Chris came and didn't rush the quote at all, he went through every room, detailing what was needed, explaining building regulations to me and why certain regulations are needed. When we went upstairs, I was busy removing a wall. I was questioning where one of my walls was a supporting wall and asked Chris querying whether he knew or not. Chris took the time to call a builder he knew, took pictures and was able to tell me if it was or wasn't - he did this without being offering the job, and was just there to give me a quote for Plastering. He helped me, just to help. I then chose Chris because his price was competitive, within my budget and most importantly he had explained why it was X amount, what was needed, how many mixes to make up the price. The job started maybe a month later, where he would keep in contact throughout, and still throughout was offering advice where he could, he came out several times as I found a new Plastering issue and was happy to come to give me a further quote out of his own time. Chris and his team started the job of the Tuesday, by the end of the following week the Plastering was complete, the whole house was done. The walls/ceilings were smooth, clean and tidy, everything was perfect. He left no mess, deposite me not opting for a skip everything was outside and bagged for me to dispose of. The walls have since dried, and there are zero faults - none. I would often visit every so often while he and his team were working, generally for a chat and see where we was with the project. What I've learned during renovations a house, is picking someone who you can trust, contact if there are any issues, knows exactly what you need and want, punctuatal and good communication throughout - for me, Chris had everything mentioned as a contractor. To add, - Even past the his job as a plaster, he still remains to help me where I needed advice. - Perfect walls and ceiling. - Outstanding communication throughout. - Didn't leave any mess, or damage anything. I would use Chris again and again, especially as I plan my next house to renovate.
